KILDUFF

The fireplace was designed with Island Rubble using large feature stones which were found on-site. The hearth is a "natural" stone weighing one ton. Inside the rock is asymmetrical and spills into the room. Outcroppings and bulging stones add interest and places for seating or setting things. Exterior stones at the base of the chimney weigh from 1.5 - 2 tons. Large stone on top of the chimney is 1.5 tons.
